What is CM Punjab Green Tractor Scheme:
The chief minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif announced to launch the green tractor scheme under punjab kissan card. Under this scheme, a farmer will be able to get a tractor on subsidy - on the less price than original. A farmer will get a subsidy of 1,000,000 ( 10 lacs). Means that the price of the tractor will be cut off by the Rs 1,000,000.
Locally assembelled tractors like Millat Tractors, Al Ghazi Tractors and other will be distributed between the farmers. The government has decided to provide 9500 tractors under this scheme within the farmers of Punjab.
Eligibilty Criteria for Green Tractor Scheme:
Obviously, not every farmer will get a tractor under cm punjab green tractor scheme. There are a few conditions for a farmer to be eligible and apply for this scheme.
This eligibility criteria is given as follows:
Residential Status:
The applicant should be a permanent resident of Punjab Province with a valid CNIC card.
Land Requirement:
The applicant must own a 1 acre to 12.5 acres of agricultural land.
